When I suggested Gettysburg’s open fields as the backdrop, I was hoping to capture something timeless and serene. The wide stretches of land, the soft horizon, the way the light plays over the grasses, those are the kinds of settings where a maternity shoot can feel expansive and intimate at the same time!

She wore blue, which was perfect! Blue pops softly against the greens, golds, and tans of the field, especially as daylight wanes or light softens. Plus, blue carries a calm, expectant feeling in maternity work!
