There’s something powerful about photographing love in a place layered with history. This Gettysburg Battlefield engagement session was the perfect blend of timeless romance and meaningful storytelling. The couple chose the historic grounds of the Gettysburg National Military Park in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as the backdrop for their engagement photos. Known for its sweeping fields and preserved landscapes, the location brings a dramatic yet peaceful atmosphere that elevates every frame.

During this session, we focused on natural connection, quiet moments, genuine laughter, and the kind of in-between glances that can’t be staged.

As we explored the area, we ended up finding beautiful yellow wildflowers that added a soft, vibrant pop of color to the images. Nearby, a rustic barn in the background gave the session an extra layer of charm and Pennsylvania countryside character, perfectly balancing the historic battlefield scenery with something warm and romantic.
